VANCOUVER - Drug company QLT Inc. (TSX:QLT) reported Thursday a third-quarter profit of US$346,000, reversing a year-ago loss of $3.7 million and said it plans to cut costs 20 per cent by reducing spending plans and staff in a restructuring of its research and development.
